2. Hosting by STRATO
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When the website is accessed, technical connection and access data required to deliver and secure the website is processed by the hosting infrastructure. This can include the requested page or file, date and time of access, browser information, operating system, referrer and IP address.
STRATO states that visitor IP addresses are stored in server log files for the detection and defence of attacks for a maximum of seven days. The processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, reliable and technically stable operation of this website. STRATO acts as a processor where applicable.
3. Contact form and e-mail
If you contact us using the contact form, we process the data you provide, in particular your name, e-mail address, optional subject and message, in order to process and respond to your enquiry. The website does not create a customer account from this information.
Depending on the content of your enquiry, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual communication or on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for other enquiries. Our legitimate interest in the latter case is to respond to enquiries addressed to us.
The contact form is processed on our STRATO hosting environment and the resulting message is delivered using the e-mail infrastructure configured for this website. Enquiries are deleted when they are no longer required for the purpose for which they were collected, unless statutory retention obligations or other legitimate reasons require longer storage.
4. YouTube
This website embeds a YouTube video using the privacy-enhanced domain youtube-nocookie.com. YouTube is a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
When a page containing the embedded player is loaded, technical data such as your IP address can be transmitted to Google/YouTube. Further data may be processed when you interact with or play the video. If you are logged into a Google account, Google may be able to associate the interaction with that account. Processing by Google can also involve transfers to countries outside the European Economic Area. Details are provided by Google in its privacy information.
5. Cookies, analytics and tracking
Hidden Objects itself does not currently use web analytics, advertising tracking, a newsletter tracking system or a user-account system on this website. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel, Mailchimp or comparable marketing services on this website. Embedded third-party content such as the YouTube player may process data independently as described above.
6. Your rights
Under the applicable legal requirements, you have the right to obtain information about personal data concerning you and, where the respective requirements are met, rights to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data processed through this website. The website is intended to be delivered using encrypted HTTPS connections.
